Supporting your growth as you move through change
My Story

I’m Danielle, a professionally trained, registered, insured and experienced person-centred integrative psychotherapist. I have worked extensively with adults in private practice, as well as children and young people in schools in Moray and the Highlands.

I wish to see you thrive. I love seeing people gain or regain their own personal power to begin to make the changes they need for their own long term well-being.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the
risk it took to blossom"
Elizabeth Appell

My training is in person-centred psychotherapy, compassion focused approaches, and is trauma- informed. My theoretical influences to name a few are: current neuroscientific understandings of the brain and body; existential therapy; Internal Family Systems; research on nature and its impact on the human; relational approaches; depth psychology. I'm a passionate biophile; nature connection, my creativity and lived understanding of the multi-faceted needs of the human feeds into my practice, as well as daily application of mindfulness.

Perhaps most of all, I appreciate the healing power of the natural world, as it has helped me so much in my own journey. We can no longer ignore the scientifically proven benefits of being in nature for all aspects of our well-being, so I am delighted to be able to combine this with conventional therapy. I also love to offer sessions indoor, online and via phone; especially as we are all different.

"In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks"
John Muir

I'm a warm, empathic individual, who is dedicated to my client's unfolding. My sessions provide a safe space where you can be fully heard, respected and celebrated in all of your humanness. I look forward to working with you.
